NYFS Player Profiles

September 29th, 2007 · No Comments

NYFS has one of the largest organization exclusive databases of over 1,500 players, 5,000 stat lines, 8,000 photos, and 12,000 fans.

There are profile pages for every player in team history, stats as far back as 1962. Cleon Jones‘ AA stats. Tom Seaver. Ed Kranepool’s minor league numbers. etc.

You can access any players photos, stats, career stats, minor league stats, splits, logs, scouting reports and more, by clicking on that players name anywhere here on the boards or in the content pieces on the main site. You can find any specific player quickly using the tool bar at the top of the home page - http://www.nyfuturestars.com - using a variety of search tools.

Use the Search Mets Databases box to type in any part of a players name or something about him and search the NYFS databases for information about possible matching players. Typing Beltran would return both Carlos Beltran and Rigo Beltran.

Use the Pick-A-Player pull down menu to select any player currently active in the organization.

..or use the Roster pull down menu to select any of the minor league or major league rosters, the disabled list(DL), and the out of organization and historical rosters, for finding players no longer with the team.

Every player profile page includes a one click link to a web search for current news about that player:

find out the latest news on any player, including players in the historical archive.

In addition to over 8,500 photos of over 800 different players, when NYFS doesn’t have a profile photo for a player, his profile page will include the HardHat guy and a link to a web search for images of that player.

If we don’t have a photo, one click, and if there is a photo to be found anywhere, NYFS will find it for you!
